How do I go about booking a session with you?
To find out more about booking a photo shoot, please get in touch via my online form. Let’s create something amazing!

Where will my photo session take place?
I have a couple of great locations to choose from depending on which setting you would prefer. Think beach, forest, park or even at home. Once your booking has been confirmed I will be in touch to discuss the options available.

What happens if it rains?
Gotta love Cape Town weather right? If the weather is unfavourable on the day I will be in touch to reschedule your session to another day that suits you. There’s no charge to reschedule to a new date if it’s raining or overcast.

What products do you offer?
I provide a range of high quality products, from albums to wall art, and will work closely with you to create something that you will treasure. Rather than wrestle with the learning clunky design software, let me do the hard work. The hardest decision you’ll have to make is where to display your finished beauty!

I’m so excited! When can I view the photos after the session?
You won’t have to wait for long! A week or two after the shoot your edited images will be available for viewing in a private online gallery and to place any orders for printed products.

FAMILY PORTRAITS

Do you photograph birthday parties and family reunions?
I prefer to work more intimately with my clients and therefore unfortunately, I do not cover birthday parties or extended family sessions. Sorry.

Can I keep the images of my children private?
I share the best of my photos online on my social media. When it comes to your children and you would prefer to keep your images private, you may indicate your request at that time. I absolutely respect your decision and therefore make sure all family portrait clients sign an optional model release before their family session.

What happens if my child is sick?
I will be more than happy to reschedule if this happens. A sick child will be an unhappy child and we don’t want that Please let me know at least 48 hours in advance where possible.

PET PORTRAITS

What should I bring along to my session shoot?
The usual gear is all that is needed – a lead, toys, treats (a must), poo bags (another must) – and we’ll be fine. If you would like to include a specific collar, bandanna or accessory please bring it along.

Does my dog have to be well trained?
While basic commands, like ‘sit’ and ‘stay’, are helpful, my aim is to capture the personality of your dog. As mentioned treats help extremely well in getting a dogs attention for certain shots, otherwise a leash can be left on. Don’t worry, I can remove leads during post-processing – you will be surprised what a touch of Lightroom wizardry can do!

My dog is nervous or doesn’t get along with other dogs – is that a problem?
Not a problem – as long as you let me know beforehand so that we can discuss our options. In the case of a nervous pet I will spend some time at the start of the session to get them familiarised with the camera and their surroundings, and they’ll soon settle in. If your dog doesn’t get along with others I will pick a location that will avoid any altercations so you can relax and enjoy the shoot. All my sessions start with a short walk and a sit down before photographing begins – this will help ease your dog into the session.

I have more than 2 dogs, can you fit them all in?
I offer two packages: Package 1 (Family of 4) covers 2 paw-rents and a max of 2 dogs. Package 2 (Family of 6) covers a family of 4 and a max of 2 dogs. If you have additional family or pets please contact me for a custom quote.

My dog is ill/elderly – how quickly can you fit us in?
I will always make room in my schedule for an elderly or terminally ill pet. Please email me so I fit you in as quickly as possible.
